Accommodation in Bundaberg can be found in many local motels and hotels. The standard varies from two star to four star and there is a lot to choose from. Many of the larger motels feature both restaurants and conference facilities and cater to the corporate market. Many company representatives overnight in Bundaberg during selling trips as the work their way along the Queensland coast calling on their clients. Booking ahead into Bundaberg accommodation is always wise as the best motels can be quickly filled up.
There are two main regions in Bundaberg where overnight accommodation is most common. The main road into town has a row of motels on either side of it and the CBD region has many historic old hotels, many of which are providing overnight accommodation. Some of the best accommodation in Bundaberg can be found facing the river with a panoramic view over the moored yachts and fishing fleet.
The seaside town of Bargara which is about twenty minutes drive to the east of Bundaberg also has a large supply of accommodation. This is mostly found in apartment style resorts that are right on the beachfront and for those who dont mind the short drive, provide an excellent alternative to staying in the accommodation in the Bundaberg CBD.
